The Catalenas come from generation upon generation in agriculture. From their roots in Sicily, farmers migrated to the Brazos River bottom in Texas for its rich soil and moderate climate. They started a new life and rooted their families in America while still remaining proud of Italian food and traditions. Over 100 years later, many of these immigrants' great-grandchildren continue in agriculture. They teach their children the value of hard work and dedication required to complete the season-based cycle of tasks, year after year. Anyone in agriculture would agree, it is a lifestyle, a culture, an esteemed business, and one that reaps benefits in every category of discipline.
